2011 Australian Open, Gold Coast

The 2011 Australian Open for Taekwondo was conducted over 2 days on the Gold Coast, Queensland which saw athletes participating in Poomsae and Sparring from the following 12 nations compete in Australia's inaugural Open event: Australia, France, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore and USA.

Linda Schragger has managed to win 2 GOLD!! That is a wonderful effort in International Competition. What an effort; 2 events 2 Gold, just does not get any better than that. Linda would like to thank her Grandmaster, Young Youl Oh for his unwavering help in making her prepared for these competitions.
She won her individual event and then won in a pairs team with Sammy Rachele from Koryo
The 5th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship, Tashkent, Uzbekistan 2010
The 5th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships kicked off for a three-day run in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Oct. 8, 2010.
The WTF-promoted event, which takes place at the 2,800-seat Universal Sports Palace Uzbekistan, drew a total of 447 contestants, including 194 females, from 59 countries.
Linda Schragger attended the World Championship for the first time in the 1st Master Division.

In early September, Linda travelled back to Korea to partake in the 6th Korean Open and more importantly, to engage in many Poomsae seminars at the home of Taekwondo.
Linda was fortunate enough to have been taught by Master Kim, one of the foremost Poomsae Instructors in the world. She was able to learn all the current rules and techniques of Poomsae for preparation for her upcoming World
Korean Championship, Muju, Korea 2010
During the school holidays Bianca, Denton and Linda travelled to Muju in South Korea to compete at the Korean Taekwondo Championship 2010.
Bianca was honoured on the first day of the competition by being nominated as flag bearer for Australia at the opening ceremony as she was the youngest participant in the 215 strong team.
